Website Design

Websites for businesses strung out along one very long highway.

Custom sites for South Coast businesses, built around who your customers are, how far they will travel and what time of year they turn up.

Who these get built for

Five kinds of South Coast business, five different jobs for a website.

Trades and construction
Builders, sparkies, plumbers, concreters and landscapers working a radius rather than a town. The site's job is a phone that rings, so the number, the radius and the proof go where a thumb can reach them.
Accommodation and tourism
Your customer is here for seven days and then gone. The website has to win the booking before they arrive and sell the second thing while they are here, without handing a commission to a booking platform for a guest who found you anyway.
Hospitality and retail
Main street trade in Milton and Ulladulla lives or dies on hours, menus and whether you are open today. Half the people checking are standing outside.
Health practices and professional firms
Practices and firms that need to look settled, explain clearly and make the first appointment easy, often for patients driving in from three towns over.
Trades and suppliers selling beyond the region
Plenty of South Coast businesses sell well past it. Those sites are built to be checked by someone who has never heard of your town.
What is included

The things that are standard, because leaving them out is how sites fail.

Designed from scratch for your business, written for your customers, structured so search engines can read every page. Mobile is the first screen we design, not the last one we check, because most of the region browses on a phone and a fair bit of it does so with two bars.

You get content written with you, training so your own team can make changes, and full ownership of the domain, the site and every account attached to it.

Process

Four steps, and you see it before we build it.

01

Work out the job

On the phone, at your place or at ours. What the site must achieve, and what an enquiry is actually worth to you.

02

Design first

Something to react to before a line of it is built, while changes are still cheap.

03

Build and test

The real site on a private link, checked on the phones and the connections your customers really have.

04

Launch, then hand it over

Live, pointed at search engines, trained through, and looked after from there. Web hosting

Before you ring

The website questions we get most weeks.

What people ask before they commit to a build, answered plainly.

What does a website cost?

It depends on how many pages you need and whether it has to take bookings or payments, so we quote it properly rather than guess on a page. You get one fixed number in writing before anything starts, with the inclusions listed, and payment plans exist if your cash flow is seasonal. No hourly creep.

Can you take over a site someone else built?

Usually. We go through what is there and tell you straight: improve it, or start over. Sometimes the honest read is that the site is fine and needs three fixes, and we will tell you that even though it is the smaller job.

Will it say how far we travel?

Yes, and it is one of the most useful things on a South Coast site. Every trade we build for gets its real radius stated plainly, because the enquiry you lose most often is the one from someone who assumed you would not come that far.

Nobody here can write about the business.

That is normal and it is our job, not yours. We interview you, write the pages and you approve them. Knowing your trade is the hard part. Headlines are the easy part.

Can it take bookings or sell products?

Both. We build booking flows for accommodation and tour operators and full online stores for retailers, including local pickup.

The rest of the list

The other seven, and why one supplier holds all of them.

The rest of what we look after, on the same number and the same invoice.

The quote is free, fixed in writing and yours to sit on. Nobody here will ring you every Tuesday about it.
